Roe Jan Auto began with Ed Roberts, a GM Master Technician who worked for General Motors for 25 years. Before founding Roe Jan Auto, Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, working as a mechanic while stationed in Bien Hoa. He was also an ASE Certified Master Technician, respected for both his technical skill and service to his country.

Ed passed that passion down to his son, Christopher Roberts, who began helping out at the shop during high school summers. Eventually, he took the wheel, continuing the family legacy and building on the strong foundation his father created.

Today, Roe Jan Auto Center remains a family-owned and operated automotive service shop, offering reliable maintenance, tire services, brake repairs, and chassis work for most makes and models. Whether you’re from Hillsdale, Copake, Great Barrington, or further out, you'll always be treated like family here.
